The Zamboanga City Police Office is sustaining the momentum of the anti-illegal campaign with more aggressive operations against high-value targets and prominent drug personalities.
In his report, Police Colonel Rexmel G Reyes, City Director said that ZCPS1 launched a buy bust operations together with the operatives of the 2nd City Mobile Force “Seaborne” Company, ZCPS9, 4th MCIC, MCIBN, intelligence unit of the MBLT 11 at Zone 5, Barangay Cawit, Zamboanga City at around 10:30 PM of June 7, 2021 that resulted in the arrest of NASHER ABDULKADIL y HASAN a.k.a “Nash”, a vendor, and ALHISAR NAWADIL y BAIRULLA, a Security Guard of the Zamboanga City Port while Patrolman JIDKHAN RAJI y HASANI eluded arrest, all are listed as HIGH VALUE TARGETS.
Recovered from their possession are: One heat sealed pack of suspected shabu with an estimated DDB value of ₱ 6,800,000.00 weighing more or less 1 kg, One unit 9mm pistol with serial number T6472-19 BG01028, Two magazines, Fourteen live ammunition of same caliber, One plastic bag containing Eleven bundles of ₱ 1,000.00 as boodle money, One sling bag, One bill of ₱ 1,000.00 as marked money and One unit of Ford Ranger Pick-Up with plate number AAH4273.
Subject persons are now under the custody of ZCPS1 for documentation and for the filing of appropriate charges in court.
Police Colonel Reyes lauds the accomplishments of his men and stresses that the joint force of PNP and other intelligence units will never stop its efforts in pursuing criminals and drug syndicates who are involved in illegal drug trade as he also urges the public to help the PNP come out and provide information against rogue police personnel and high-value targets as part of the PNP’s Intensified Cleanliness Drive against all forms of illegal activities.
