Police operatives in Zamboanga City seized cache of arms and bulk of suspected illegal drugs from a suspect whom authorities served search warrant on Friday, February 19, 2021.
Regional Police Spokesman P/Capt. Edwin Duco claimed elements of the Sta. Maria Police Station under P/Maj Albin Cabayacruz effected a search warrant at Bagis Compound, Gov. Ramos St., Sta. Maria.
The operation led to the arrest of Ar-Rafi Batausa y Bagis, 38, married and a businessman of the said place.
Duco claimed, the suspect was arrested following the serving of search warrant and confiscating from his residence the following; One (1) Plastic Box container, One (1) pouch color black, Fourteen (14) sachets of suspected Shabu
weighting more or less 9.3 grams with estimated market value of 63, 240.00 pesos, Seventy One (71) sachets of dried leaves suspected Marijuana weighting more or less 12.53 grams with estimated street value of ₱ 1,754.00, One(1) unit of Cal. 45 pistol, Para Ordance with Serial No. QH 6552, Two (2) Magazines, Twenty Four (24) Ammunitions of Cal. 45, One (1) Riffle Grenade with Bull Trap High Explosive, One (1) firearms Holster and One (1) weighing scale.
Duco said, the confiscated items were brought to Zamboanga City Crime Lab Office for examination; the One (1) Riffle Grenade with Bull Trap High Explosive was turned over to the RECU9 while subject is presently under the custody of Zamboanga City Police Station 7 for proper disposition.
