Darmalyn H. Jumlail, PDEA Information Officer, said as of this time, in the region and the city there is no presence yet of shabu pill.

However, the office together with other law enforcement agencies are coordinating to make sure this drug will not enter the city and the region. They are also monitoring airport, land, and seaport.

The office made the announcement after shabu pills were intercepted in Manila. This pill contains shabu, caffeine, and ethyl vanillin which is stronger than the traditional shabu.

Jumlail said.

For those caught with this drug, they will still face charges of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002. (R.G. Antonet A. Go)
