DAVAO CITY- Gov Edwin Jubahib of Davao Del Norte formally marked the culmination of the first in a series of Serbisyo Caravan dubbed as “OPLAN TABANG” (Tabang sa Barangay Alang sa Nanginahanglan ug Galisod) Friday afternoon at the Talaingod Terminal of said town in a simple closing ceremony.
The caravan was able to reach out to hundreds of the mostly Ata-Manobo populace of the Municipality of Talaingod from Barangays Sto Niño, Palma Gil and Dagohoy from Sep 4 to Sep 6.
The services extended were: Health; Social;Legal;Animal health and Livestock; Roads and Infrastructures; Disaster Preparedeness and Home Safety; Sports and Youth Development; Environment and Peace Education; Crops and Fisheries; Livelihood Opportunities, and; Promotion of Good Local Civil Works.
With services delivered and issues heard by concerned agencies, the people were satisfied and felt the presence of the government they long waited for.
Once more, it has been proven that there is strength in unity and good governance is still one of the best solutions to countering insurgency problem. CMO 1003rd
