Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte- Mayor Romeo Mejias of Municipality of La Libertad expressed his gratitude to Governor Roberto Uy for the services given to the said municipality from the Provincial Government of Zamboanga del Norte, as this has been the mayor’s statement during the Medical mission at Barangay Mauswagon on November 16, 2018
He added that this gave opportunity to the residents of Barangay Mauswagon, La Union, and New Carcar knowing that they will not anymore go to the city for medical consultations, which is less hassle for these residents. He was proud to say that Municipality of La Libertad is lucky enough to receive this kind of service since this will benefit the people of the said municipality.
Aside from the medical services, the provincial government also poured out infrastructure projects, and a lot more. Included in the mentioned medical session were free medical check-up and medicines, dental services through the Provincial Health office, and the giving off of the Techno guide by the Technology and Livelihood Development Center (TLDC) wherein this will serve as a guide for the livelihood of the people.
There were also vegetable seeds, Falcata seedlings through the Provincial Agriculturist, and feeding for the children in the barangays by the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO). (Lyza Merille Bautista)
