Surigao City Jail Personnel and PsDL for successfully registering in the Philippine Statistics Authority – Philippine Identification System Registration.
On May 16, 2022, the onsite PhilSys ID Registration was successfully conducted at Surigao City Jail. A total of 28 SCJ Personnel and 358 PsDL (31 Female and 327 Male PsDL) were officially registered in the said system.
The said activity was conducted pursuant to Republic Act No. 11055 otherwise known as the Philippine Identification System Act and as part of the implementation of the BJMP Transformation Road Map J.A.I.L Plan 2040, to register all PsDL and personnel for the National ID that will serve as the government’s unified, centralized form of identification for the Filipino citizens and resident aliens.
The peaceful and orderly conduct of the said activity was made possible through strategic planning, proper coordination and teamwork of PSA Personnel and SCJ Personnel and PsDL under the leadership of the City Jail Warden J/CINSP JOEL G CALIMBO, RN.
