Camp Col Rafael C Rodriguez, Butuan City ————Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB) 13 commenced yesterday, May 21, the start of a week-long mini-Olympic with the theme “Developing Camaraderie through Sports” held in Police Regional Office (PRO) 13 grounds.
PRO 13 Director, POLICE BRIGADIER GENERAL ROMEO M CARAMAT JR, ably represented by the Deputy Regional Director for Operation POLICE COLONEL JOSE DJ MANALAD JR, graced the event along with the RMFB13 Force Commander, Commanding Officers of the five maneuvering companies and other officers of RMFB 13.
PCOL LAUDEMER M LAUDE, RMFB 13 Force Commander, disclosed that representatives from RMFB 13-Technical Support Company (TSC), 1301st Maneuver Company (MC), 1302nd MC, 1303rd MC, 1304th MC and 1305th MC are pitted against one another in a friendly competition.
Highlighted yesterday were the Parade, Torch Lighting, Oath of Spormanship, Banner Raising, Cheer dance competition and the traditional “Laro ng Lahi” by respective representatives as well as the start of the Basketball and Volleyball competition.
“The goal of this mini-Olympic is to play to build rapport, to foster teamwork, and to be more unified as a team, which hopefully, will result into greater enthusiasm and productivity in our workplace, “DRDO MANALAD said.
The RMFB 13 Mini-Olympics will conclude in May 28, 2022 during which the singing and dance contest and the awarding of the winners will also be held.
