Camp Col Rafael C Rodriguez, Butuan City – Cantilan Municipal Police Station operatives in Surigao del Sur apprehended last Sunday (May 15) an 18 years old student for sexually abusing a minor through oral sex.
POLICE BRIGADIER GENERAL ROMEO M CARAMAT JR asserted that Cantilan MPS operatives arrested a suspect identified as Carlo Guergio Consigna, 18 years old, male, student, and a resident of Sitio Ayoke, Brgy. General Island, Cantilan, Surigao del Sur, through a warrant of arrest.
Under Criminal Case No C-2041, the suspect has been indicted for Violation of Sexual Abuse (Under Section 5 (B) of Republic Act 7610). C-2041 issued by Regional Trial Court, Surigao del Sur with a bail bond recommended of Php120,000 was arrested in Brgy. Linintian, Cantilan, Surigao del Sur.
Based on the report from Cantilan MPS, the suspect ensnared and sexually abused a 16 years old male student through oral sex in Brgy. Magusilom, Cantilan, Surigao del Sur midnight on March 4, 2022.
“PNP Caraga will undoubtedly continue to apprehend individuals with standing warrants because we will not allow sexual predators to exploit minors,” RD CARAMAT JR said.
