Sesyon ng Senado para sa 18th Congress pormal nang nagbukas

Pormal nang nagbukas ang sesyon ng senado para sa 18th Congress.

Muling nahalal si Senador Vicente Sotto lll para sa kanyang ikalawang termino bilang Senate president.

Walang bumoto kontra kay Sotto bagamat nag abstain sa pagboto sina Senador Franklin Drilon, Francis Pangilinan at Risa Hontiveros.

Agad ring nanumpa si Sotto bilang ika 23^rd pangulo ng Senado.
