Davao City– President Rodrigo Duterte on Friday led the closing ceremony of the Police Highway Patrol riding course and gave each of the 3- Best riders a motorcycle as Christmas Gifts.
The trio, PO2 Ian Florida, PO3 Ronald Allan Poe and PO1 Jason Carillo, were among 200 who graduated from the course, which aims to improved the riding skills of police, military, fire, and jail personnel.
“I hope that the graduates will honor and will remain steadfast on their crucial role in promoting the proper safety mindset, driving proficiency, which ensures safety of our road and traffic conditions,” Pres. Duterte said.
Duterte also encouraged law enforcers to learn how to become first responders to crime and terrorism using their motorcycles.
