Dalawampu’t limang (25) milyong pisong medical expense ang inilaan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte para sa medical expenses ng mga pulis.
Ito ang tiniyak ni Pangulong Duterte, isang araw matapos sermunan ang mga tiwali at scalawag na pulis na iniharap sa kanya sa Malacañang.
Sa ika-117 anibersaryo ng Philippine National Police sa Camp Crame, Quezon City, kahapon nanawagan din ang Pangulo sa mga pulis na maglingkod sa taumbayan sa halip na masangkot sa katiwalian o krimen.
“I would like to leave something for all to hear. I am giving you P25 million for medicines and all.”
“If it needs a very specialized [operation] at wala tayo na doktor…You just tell me. We can afford it. You do not have to beg there and steal or borrow.”

Samantala, naglaan din aniya ng pondo upang mapaghusay ang kakayahan ng mga pulis sa pagganap sa kanilang tungkulin.
