One million pesos (P1-M) was offered by the family of Italian Andrea Guarniero, 49, married to a Filipina who was shot dead while at his office at their Beach House in Poblacion 1, Dauin town, Negros Oriental on the evening of March 28, 2019.
The offer came from Mrs. Cyril Cloris Guarniero; widow of the victim, for anybody who can give vital information as to the identity of the two suspects in the murder of her husband.
The Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office created a Special Investigation Task Group dubbed as “SITG Guarniero” headed by Police Coronel Raul Tacaca immediately convened after the incident to look into the real motive of the killing.
