E.B. MAGALONA MAYOR MARVIN MALACON yesterday (Jan. 29, 2019) presented to Saraviahanons the brand new heavy equipment acquired by the municipal government through a loan.
Mayor Malacon told reporters the acquisition of the multi-million-peso equipment – bulldozer, excavator, grader, trucks – is the result of his visits in the barangays during which he and his team heard and saw what the people needed and had been wishing for many years in far-flung barrios.
The equipment will enable the local gov’t to improve barangay folks’ access to places, build or improve farm to market roads, as well as other improvement and enhancement infrastructures.
Malacon said the town is capable to settle the loan without compromising its services and assistance to the people.
With the mayor in yesterday’s turn-over were Sangguniang Bayan Members Jovie Madayag, Joey Pugales, Gelita Parcon, Jun Gomed and Boy Gamboa, and NONECO Director Joey Francis Pugales, Municipal Planning & Dev’t Office (MPDO) Engr. Erwin Poniado, and Consultant Nonong Escala.(via NDB)
