Two students from Bulacan wre intercepted in a checkpoint/ interdiction conducted by anti-narcotic operatives along Poblacion East, Lamut, Ifugao.On September 16, 2019.
16 bricks and four tubular form of Marijuana dried leaves worth Php 2, 500,000.00 were confiscated from two students from Bulacan .
The arrested students, Christian Quintos, 21 and Paul Andrei Galvez, 21 were brought to Lamut Municipal Police Station for documentation.
The operation was implemented by joint efforts of PDEA-Ifugao, PDEA-Mt. Province, PDEU Ifugao, RMFB 1501st COY, Banaue MPS, Lamut MPS and Bontoc MPS.
Meanwhile, another individual in the name of Jerico Floralde, 21, was caught in Tarlac. Seized from Floralde were 4 bricks of marijuana dried leaves weighing 4kgs amounting to Php480, 000.00
The operation was conducted following the arrest of fourteen (14) individuals boarded a Nissan van along Bontoc-Kalinga road in Mt. Province on September 15, 2019.
Entrapment of these individuals transporting marijuana from Kalinga passing via Bontoc-Kalinga road or Banaue- Bontoc road are becoming successful due to trust through partnership and good interoperability among all law enforcement units/ Agencies in the AOR.
