Davao City— LAING duha ka kasong libelo ang gipasaka ni Presidential son ug former Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo “Pulong” Duterte batok kang Senador Antonio Trillanes IV, Miyerkules, Septyembre 19.
Ang maong libel case subay sa alegasyon ni Trillanes kang Pulong sa pagkaduhig niini sa P6.4-billion drug shipment sa miaging tuig diin gitawag sa senador si Pulong nga “drug smuggler.”
Ang kampo sa batan-ong Duterte mipasaka og reklamong batok sa senador ngadto sa Criminal Investigation and Detention Group (CIDG) Hunyo ning tuiga.
Human mapasaka ang reklamo, ang CIDG nagrekomenda sa kaso nga dalhon ngadto sa Davao City Prosecutor’s Office human sila mipahigayon og imbestigasyon sa reklamo nga gipasaka ni Pulong.
“We have to respect the process of the CIDG as well as the process of the city prosecutor’s office, that is why we came all the way here from Manila just to file this case because we live in the legal process. Unlike the process of the amnesty issue of Trillanes,” pamahayag ni Rainier Madrid, ang abogado ni Pulong.
Miihap na sa upat ka mga kasong libel ang napasaka kang Trillanes, diin ang tulo niini gipasaka ni Pulong ug ang isa gikan sa abogado ni Mans Carpio.
Gibutyag ni Madrid nga suma pa ni Trillanes di gayod siya moanhe sa Davao City aron atubangon ang reklamo, gumikan nasayod nang daan ang senador nga anaa sa kontrol sa mga Duterte ang siyudad sa Davao.
“That is even libelous to accuse the judges [in Davao City] or the prosecutors of being bias or not being capable of being fair,” dugang ni Madrid.
Suma pa nga di na gikinahanglan ni Trillanes nga mo-file pa og motion aron ma-transfer ang kaso nga didto dunggon sa Metro Manila.
“As a lawyer, we should rely on the system because that is the only system we have. So we have to trust in the system,” dugang sa abogado.
