June 1 to 6: Zamboanga del Norte’s Saulog Festival

The province of Zamboanga del Norte celebrates its 67th founding anniversary, Saulog Festival,  in Dipolog City

“Saulog” means to celebrate in the local dialect, to show thanksgiving of the provinces’ rising economy brought by industrial and agricultural development.

All lined up at the Dipolog City Boulevard are the creative booths from every municipality in Zamboanga del Norte made and designed in the representation of their local symbol.

During the series of events, there has been a job fair, agri-tourism trade fair, folk dance competition, Bangkathon Boat Binigiw Contest, and many more activities that showcase the talents of the Zanortehanon.

Held also was the DepEd Night recognizing the hardworking teachers in the province, and LGU Night for the last evening of the festival.

The Provincial Tourism of Zamboanga del Norte aims to promote and introduce the wonders of the province from each municipality’s tourist destinations to its agricultural products.
