Nakadisplay ngayon sa SM Legazpi ang iba’t ibang produktong gawa sa ceramics mula sa Tiwi, Albay. Ang “Disenyo Ceramika” ay bahagi ng Saod Albay Trade Fair sa pangunguna ng Department of Trade and Industry Albay upang matulungan ang ceramics industry ng Tiwi, Albay.
Sampung ceramics producers ang kasali sa 5 araw na exhibit. Ayon kay DTI Albay Provincial Director Dindo Nabol, “Outputs of the prodev, mostly prototypes or new products and first time to be introduced in the market are displayed and market tested for saleability, either to individual buyers or institutional ones for outright purchase or order taking”.
Tema ng trade fair ay “Experience Tiwi ceramics”. May actual demonstration ng pottery-making at ang mga interesadong mamimili at enthusiasts ay pwedeng sumubok o magkaroon ng aktwal na karanasan sa paggawa ng mga produktong terracotta.
Bisita rin sa pagbubukas si Albay Governor Noel Rosal at aniya, malaking bagay para sa mga ceramics producers at sa turismo ang naturang aktibidad.
Hanggang sa Agosto 7, 2022 ang trade fair at panawagan ni PD Nabol, “We invite our kababayans/tourists to please visit us at the ground level and avail of factory priced state of the art products of our local ceramics artisans from Tiwi. By buying these local products, you’re helping our ceramics producers bounce back from the lingering effects of the pandemic and thus our domestic economy”.
