One (1) reported death from General Santos City. The 68,704th reported confirmed case, 66 years old female. Cause of death is Renal Failure secondary to End-Stage Renal Disease.
One (1) reported death from Koronadal City. The 70,006th reported confirmed case, 87 years old male. Cause of death is Acute Respiratory Failure Type 1 and Type 4 secondary to COVID-19 Confirmed Severe, Upper Gastrointestinal Bleed secondary to Bleeding Peptic Ulcer Disease.
Overall, there are a total of 70,061 COVID-19 confirmed cases reported to DOH CHD SOCCSKSARGEN region. 220 (0.31%) are active cases, 67,276 (96.02%) recoveries and 2,533 (3.62%) COVID-19 related deaths.
