Cebu: ERC gipatawag aron mopasabot sa ilang habig labot sa giingong ‘extra charges’

Cebu City – Gitakdang mo atubang ang Energy Regulation Commission (ERC) sa konseho sa Syudad sa Sugbo pagpasabot sa ilang habig kun nganong ilang gitugtan ang Visayan Electric (kanhi Visayan Electric Company o VECO) nga makakolekta ug dugang mga bayranan.

Kini human makalitan ang daghang mga customers sa Visayan Electric pagkadawat sa ilang bill sa kuryente nga perti ka dako bisan kung taudtaud ngan wala silay konsumo gumikan sa bagyong Odette.

Bisan ang pipila ka mga konsehal nagkanayon nga wala sila maka likay sa taas nga bill.

Gipaabot nga mo-atubang ang ERC atol sa Councilor’s Hour Marso 23.

Gibutyag ni Konsehal Nestor Archival Sr., sa iyang privilege speech atol sa regular session sa konseho, Miyerkules, nga mipatuman ang VECO ug 21 ka mga lain-lain charges sa ilang electric bills.

Ang mga charges naglakip sa generation charge, transmission charge, system loss charge, distribution charge, supply charge, metering charge, 2nd metering charge, subsidy on lifeline charge, senior citizen charge, NPC/PSALM adjustment, franchise tax-local, missionary electrification, NPC stranded debts, feed in traffic allowance, and real property tax, ug uban pa.

“In as much as we would like to presume the regularity of these charges, as representatives of the constituents of Cebu City, we should at least know how these charges were computed and the reason why these charges were being passed on to us,” mensahi ni Archival.
