Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte – At around 4:00 in the morning on June 4, 2019, the police operatives of Dipolog City Police Station headed by Police lieutenant Colonel Gilzen Niño Regis Manese, Acting Chief of Police, in coordination with the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit (RDEU) personnel, conducted a drug buy-bust operation at Purok Kalambuan, Barangay Sta. Filomena, Dipolog City.
Arrested and wasn’t able to dodge the law was Nof Patangan y Paner, 22-year old, single male, bar entertainer and a resident of Tabuk Tulay, Brgy. Estaka, Dipolog City.
Recovered from him were 7 sachets of illegal drugs (shabu) with an estimated street/market value of Php 70, 000.00 and a 500 pesos marked money.
The suspect is now temporarily detained at Dipolog City Police Station for proper disposition and filing of case against him.
Still, the Police Force of Dipolog City Police Station under the command of Police Lieutenant Colonel Gilzen Niño Regis Manese strictly implements the program under Project Double Barrel and calls the public to stop the trade and use of illegal drugs for this does nothing but destroy lives.
