₱ 8.8M Quality Of 3 Projects Turned-Over By Gov. Uy To Barangay Tubac, Mutia

Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte- Governor Roberto Uy handed over to the people of Barangay Tubac, Municipality of Mutia on November 28, this year with three projects worth over 8.8 million pesos that he poured into the barangay.

 

It is a key indicator of its sincere governance in the province even if the said location is hard to reach, still they have been given infrastructure projects.

 

These projects include the provision of Provincial Road from Barangay Diolen to Barangay Tubac with a length of 1.8 kilometers, construction of the 15Mx30M Multi-Purpose Covered Court and the Construction of Tribal Hall.

 

Mr. Patricio Baterna, the President of the Famer’s Association in the area, expressed his great gratitude to Governor Uy since his request has been fulfilled.

 

Timuay Anderson Seno, the Tribal Leader in the barangay also expressed his deepest satisfaction that, in the end, they were able to obtain a concrete road, covered court and tribal hall.

 

Timuay Seno asserted that he will try to ensure that the tribal subordinates are united for further development in their area.

 

Meanwhile, Councilor Federico Rosal of Barangay Tubac, welcomed Governor Uy. He added that there has been no promises  that the governor did not fulfill.

In his message, Governor Uy said that the road will improve the livelihood of the people as it is now easier to do and improve business in the area.

The governor also assured them that they would be given irrigation projects based on the people’s presence here. He just asked for a donated area to help realize the project.

This month, the new road will be open from Barangay Mercedes in La Libertad to Barangay Tubac.The governor added that this is a sign of the implementation of governmental justice.   He just asked the people to cooperate for further development in the province.

Meanwhile, former Polanco Mayor Pinpin Uy, who is an aspirant to have a congressional seat for the first district, also urged the people to continue their father’s support.

The blessing of the road was made by Reverend Father Leonides Panales, Mutia Archbishop. The event was also attended by Vice Mayor Jenito Bohol, Engr. Alfonso Gorre, OIC of the Provincial Engineering Office, Engr. Joelito Galanza, Area District Engineer in the uno district, Tubac Barangay Kagawad Lemuel Tabada, and Engr.
